COMMENTS:
Like most religions, the wolves at the top saw a political advantage, rolled out the hysteria, and the sheep at the bottom went berserk.
Silly variations on silly themes.

I wasn't surprised in the least. It was typical of them. Remember Salmon Rushdi (sic)? If the Pope had said that Mohammad wore flip-flops or drank de-caf, or that the Koran had a few typos, they would have had the same reaction. Ther're just looking for excuses.

Oh look another ballot by Jinn on his favourite and only subject, lets all cheer.... or should that be jeer?
by Steelhamster on Mon Sep 25, 06 3:10pm [+]

Actually Steelhamster, ballots I have created relating to Islam, only consist of less than 10% of all my ballots over the last three years. However, I have certainly noticed that you have continually enjoyed commenting on virtually all of them over the last year or so. Thus since you find them so popular, I will try to create more just for you. Besides, I'm sure everyone will agree that the topics that are at the forefront of world news are deserving of our attention. Or perhaps you perfer more ballots on Bush or 9/11?
by Jinn_the_Kafir on Mon Sep 25, 06 3:47pm [+]

Nope, just feel its necessary to show up your rampant Islamaphobia for what it is.

I rarely comment on 9/11 ballots.

Tbey pretty much proved him right didn't they?

Pope: islam is a violent religion.

Islamic world: that's an outrage! He can't say that about us, we should talk about assasinating him while we firebomb churches and murder nuns to prove that ours is a religion of peace. Allah Akbar! Death to the jews! Er, catholics I mean.

Excellent visual!

Sorry to disappoint you Steelhamster, but it is a proven fact that the word "Islamphobia" is a fallacy term. Its used mostly by Muslims and their apologists as a futile attempt to insult or belittle the informed. In fact, its use is now passe.

No kidding. And they think the infidels are their worst enemy!

Voted : Their reaction was not justified nor acceptable
All they've done is prove the pope's point.
Can you imagine if any one of us firebombed religious buildings because we were offended by a sermon? Or a cartoon? Or a comment?
Why should the world have to walk on egg shells and watch its collective tongue and limit its communication because of a mob of violent "religious" fanatics? This is a case of the child telling the parent how to behave - or else!
by rain628lasso on Mon Sep 25, 06 5:43pm [+]

Voted : Their reaction was not justified nor acceptable
Those who reacted with violence and calls for the Pope's death are sick and made total fools of themselves.
by Beauregard on Mon Sep 25, 06 6:23pm [+]

What does steelhamsters misguided reaction to this ballot say about HIM should surely be the hot topic of conversation here?
