FF: Bostonian makes a good point. I believe Obama's popualrity is mostly because he's charismatic and not much is known about him.
If he did run, this 'unknown' quantity would disappear and he wouldn't look nearly as good.
Ya we are not ready for a woman president. We might elect a black president soon though, not sure if he will win.
