It wasn't MLK unfortunately. 200,000 to 500,000. A number of other marches in Washington have attracted 500,000 or more. These would include Vietnam War marches, 2 gay/lesbian rights marches, Million Man, Million Mom marches, etc. Hard to say exactly. I would probably say Times Square 12/31/99.
