If you think so, in what way? For better or worse, and by technology I mean anything from I-pods to microwaves.

I'm thinking for worse. Personally, people I used to stay in touch with by phone have now been downgraded to "You've got mail!" status. I was already a social introvert, and the distance of e-mail has made me even moreso.

Yeah, you get to interface with more people without really interfacing with them...like right now...

oh course technology affects human relationships. Ipods for example, make teens basically block out everyone else in this world and become loners. on the other hand, the internet allows people across the world to communicate and interact (which again can be good or bad). so i guess it really depends on what the technology is, how it is being used, and how often it is being used

Yes, definitely. Previously, people could just head up to anyone, strike a conversation and make friends with anyone if they chose to. Today, its all about the space age, where we meet, connect and network with others online, even without meeting them.

What has this world come to? Also, though the world is now our oyster, it has done nothing constructive but to create isolated individuals from actually interacting with the people around them. Which is starting to point towards societal degradation.
