COMMENTS:
Correct spelling in the answer (drop the possessives and use plurals as indicated), but I can't say more without revealing the correct result.
Voted : Hours worked
Two incomes. "Household income" is a fakeout. It used to be "wager earner income." Now, both parents have to work to make ends meet. So, to get where you actually are, vis a vie the past, total your "household income' and divide it by two. Also, realize that when both parents are largely gone, the television and the streets raise the kids. Think about htat.
How much wages you earn maybe?

Actually, Asians make up around 7% of the top 5% of households as to income, which far exceeds the proportion of those of European descent. It's worth noting that the ethnic group with the HIGHEST household income of all happen to be East Indians (ancestry from the Indian subcontinent). To answer margaret123, income has stayed rather flat or lost ground for those with a high school degree or less, but it has grown by varying degrees for those with higher educations. My own household income statistically is in the top 5%, and, to be honest, we've been making out like bandits, with six degrees between us.
Voted : Educational attainment
I'd think household size, but they probably didn't check for that. I'll vote educational attainment.
But Felix, you assume that these are analogous and independent factors. What if some of these other factors (e.g., ethnicity, race, geography, etc.) are factors in "Education attainment?"
