Since I gave up hope in humanity (and with it, the world) it's totally lightened my spirits! I was always kinda upbeat but then the more I thought of the big picture the more frustrated and sick it made me. But rather than wallowing in the actual hopelessness I turned it around!
And it could have left emptiness but instead I concentrate on the cats' and squirrels' happiness and the flowers and the yard. Sometimes, digging around in the dirt by myself, I do go over the Ecstatic edge.. even if I'm listening to the news, the more ridiculous it is then the harder I laugh.
THE REST OF MY LIFE WILL BE THIS WAY
