Wasting time isn't time wasted if that was your plan to begin with.

doing nothing in particular is not necessarily wasting time. However many very involved activities could be considered a waste of time - like maybe applying make-up every morning, or waxing your car once a week.....

I consider time spent being productive to be wasted because I usually dislike being useful to society, unless it's for my own business and can make me lots of easy money. I would rather spend the same time hanging around by myself and doing very little.
