COMMENTS:
Voted : No, being against AND for gay rights is the same thing
No Romney made those statements 12 years ago,it could well be that his position has changed on the issue.A person does not also have to expose the same belief cranky people do change.
And when Democrats change, Republicans call it "flip-flopping."
Voted : Yes, that does seem hypocritical
Hu-WHA?
he's not a hypocrite at all. he consistently believes in doing whatever he thinks will get him elected at any given time.

flip flop.
No cranky it's flip flopping when you change you're position over a short period of time like Ho Chi Clinton often does.Aren't you liberals against "staying the course" and following the same position indefinately?Guess when it comes to playing partisan politics it doesn't matter.
like i said, he's consistently lying out of his ass to get elected. no inconsistency, no change of position.
Corrupt: And when you change your position and don't admit that you have, or try to cover up, or ignore, your former position, what's that? And Ho Chi Clinton. Last time I looked, it was Hanoi George Bush who was sucking up to the Vietnamese -- in Vietnam. That bust behind Bush Il Jong would be of Ho Chi Minh.
Romney bats off question on gay marriage. Conservatives attacking Mitt Romney’s (R) past support for same-sex unions say “the Massachusetts governor has some explaining to do. For now, at least, the potential presidential candidate isn’t talking. … The governor’s office issued a brief statement last weekend… the governor has been a ‘champion of traditional marriage.’ At a gathering of San Diego County Republicans Monday night, Romney brushed aside a question from The Associated Press. ‘Thanks, I have other people to talk to right now,’ he said.” (Think Progress)
It really depends, what is he saying NOW about it.
