No. I've seen movies with flying cars and it ain't the solution. You got those blimps with the Asian woman selling coca cola and those taxis that will go straight up in front of you. What about those trains that go up walls? What happens when the wall stops? On the plus side, at least those multilingual midgets won't be able to steal your gas cans.

Hovercraft technology has existed for decades, but air control technology has a long way to go before it's capable of handling the massive hovercraft traffic.
What happens when there are drunk driverd in hovercrafts? What if you run out of gas in the air? You and your hover craft are going to plummet to the ground.

Oh sure.... have people driving these things everywhere. All through the forests and parks, rivers and oceans. All the while polluting the atmosphere, raising the ambient noise level and creating greater congestion because most hovercraft are larger than cars.
Here is an idea: Mass transit. Cities designed so that people can easily walk to where they need.

Which is why it'll never work, I'm afraid. light, I lived in Atlanta proper for four years before moving out to the suburbs (Stone Mountain). My third night out there, I was coming in from shopping at about nine, got out of my car and saw the stars for the first time since I'd moved to Jawja. I was breathless for a full minute.
