I think of the purpose of life in the sense of Why the Artist creates a masterpiece, A craftsman chisles a fine Sculpture or the Bard composing Poetic Verse.
For the awe in the creation, the appreciation for the detail and the pleasure it provides when admiring it. 
passiveson - I would agree - That is the way life should be appreciated, but I still wonder how it all came about and what the true nature of reality and time is, beyond my current comprehension
