Ok, there's more on this at Reuters, but the ballot kept saying it was too long. Bin Laden was quoted as saying: ""You have destroyed nature with your industrial waste and gases more than any other nation in history. Despite this, you refuse to sign the Kyoto agreement so that you can secure the profit of your greedy companies and industries," al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden wrote in a 2002 "letter to the American people."

If Bin Laden actually said this, it would be ironic, given the nature of his work in oil exploitation and the damage that can do to the environment.

^ That's what I was thinking. It's not like he never made any money off of oil...
Why don't the people who vote answer? Where is the person who voted no? Why don't you explain your answer?

There are meny factors that can increase the level of violence and terrorism. Climate change (which has been going on for 4½ billion years), plagues, volcanos, earthquakes, floods (hurricane Katrina comes to mind) and not voting Republican.
^^ "meny"?

Nothing like fear to inflame tensions between the haves and the have-nots.
Ha! If you don't drive a hybrid, the terrorists will win. I wonder if the democrats will try this in 2008? Traditional fear mongering, very nice. I'm sure osama bin laden will be further enraged at the US if his net worth drops from 200 million to 198 million. And likewise the saudi princes funding terrorism are just days away from starving, the slightest upset and they're out on the street. Poverty doesn't cause terrorism, there are lots of poor people, only certain ones resort to terrorism on a significant scale. Ones belonging to a certain faith, which also produces rich and middle class terrorists as well.

This certainly could happen.
