It depends on the circumstance I think.

Not knowing much, I'm voting for positive comments are acceptable. But at least letting that person know he was mentioned would be nice. He might not even want his name out there.

As for bad stuff, it would depend on the situation. I'm not sure on the laws and lines between liable/slander and legitimate complaints. But if it's a legitimate complaint about some one or someone's site or business, I really don't see too much of a problem.

Ethically? I wouldnt even bother with it unless it was something serious that others needed to be alerted too. Unless it's done to actually protect others, I see no reason to splatter someone's name around.

It depends on the forum. It depends on the issue. It depends on your own values and character.

Do you feel you're doing the right thing?

I have to know the situation to answer specifically on the moral and legal ramifacations.

Is it the National enquirer or the Washington Post kind of thing?

Ethically: Can be questionable.

Legally: Yes.

I can dish it out, and I can take it.

Shana, If you want to be insulting, at least let the insult be fitting. I can teach you how to sound 'Grown Up' if you want?
by passiveson on Fri Feb 09, 07 4:13pm [+]

^ Nice try Passiveson, I have 10 times the responsibilities in life that you do... I am grown up, much more of a woman then you will EVER get in real life bud.

I don't put up with fake little suck ups that try to pretend to be someone they are not, while trying "expose" other people on this site as hypocrites. The very people helped BUILD this site way before you came along.

LCD is our webmaster, cool... he can be a cool guy and otherwise when he wants to be. Doesn't mean you need to go ass-sniffing all over the place to get his approval... you know why *it won't work*

I would like to comment that I received Karma for my choice, so other people here know what you are up to.

Lay off your own hypocrisy and double-check your methods, this isn't "Survivor" bud... get off your reality TV trip.

^Butt out. I'm not on this forum to participate in dysfunction.

That's why I blocked you. So you follow me around trying to provoke me constantly making unfounded accusation and presumptuous conclusions, and I've done nothing to you.

I know what this is about, but you can't be openly honest what that is, can you?
by passiveson on Fri Feb 09, 07 6:31pm [+]

BTW, Doctordraw or lil ape, only count as one person, not people.
by passiveson on Fri Feb 09, 07 6:51pm [+]

I would be reluctant to talk about bad experiences. I won't say I would never do this, but too much of it sounds like whining.
