BTW Lose=LOOSE :)
A really old male dog could sire defective puppies, which could grow into very troublesome adult animals. But I would not know what to do in your case since the authorities do not take you seriously. Maybe you could call the Humane Society and ask their adivce.
If I could get away with it their dog would be fixed lol. As for our dogs we thought we had the problem solved because the male dog is really outta it and we were told he only had months to live. Plus all of our male dogs are all fixed already lol. We can't afford doing both females right now. We already talked with anyone who coulda helped and they all say get rid of our females. Yes we have a leash law here plus our dogs all have their licenses and Rabies shot and their dog does not and the authorities still don't give a dang.
BTW our female dogs are both tied up and in pens.
How about some aversion therapy like a nice icy spray of water from your garden hose? After 5 or 6 of these, he might get the message.

Get your dog's fixed! simple. Or is it that you want to bred your dogs, just not with this dog--->
Sorry about the image size, it wasn't this big!
More puppies Vs. cost of spaying Do them one at a yime. Better than 50 puppies.
LOL I been trying to scare him off. I have done the hose, threw snowballs at him, banged pots, picked up the dog houses, and ran him all the way home. Also fireworks:). He always comes back. And Maybelle I am hoping to breed her with a Greyhound one day and not her own father whom is trying his hardest to get her lol:( Plus we just got all of our male dogs fixed.
If you really want to keep your female in breeding condition, but the authorities won't do anythng about the neighbor's dog comming over, offer to have their dog neutered. If you don't want to pay for it and if they can't afford to, many local humane societies and shelters will perform the service at low cost if you provide them with proof of income (or lack of). Contrary to what the PC police might have you believe, owning a female breeding dog is not illegal. If you're doing everything you can to keep your animal restrained but the neighbors are still doing nothing, the authorities should do something. Even if it's just talking to the neighbors about restraining their dog.
They can afford to fix him and so can my family but they refuse to have it done to him. They always tell us they will keep him home but it only lasts a day or two. Yup believe me I know the laws about this matter. You mention them and everyone just comes up with reasons why this time they don't apply and why we are in the wrong.
Voted : dogs will be dogs
That's why it's called "animal husbandry." We are not responsible for the behaviors of others' pets; only our own. If we don't want our female dogs spayed, then we have to monitor their heat cycles closely, and insure they are provided a safe and humane place to stay away from neighboring dogs or strays during that period. If it wasn't the neighbor's dog, it would be somebody else's, or a coyote, or fox, or stray... When a bitch is in heat, dem "dawgs" can smell it from incredible distances. All dogs LOVE to make puppies, both male, AND female. It's just natural.
And it obviously isn't enough to simply tie our dogs up, or pen them. They have to be in a place where other dogs cannot get in.
I will leave this ballot active but the neighbor's dog has died. They removed his doghouse awhile ago so we know he's not among the living anymore. Of course now his daughter we have has been acting like he's always around so...? lol
