Times change. The blessing of the human mind is that we are able to adapt to a changing present in order to manipulate the future. I, for one, heavily hope that the biggest animals on the planet are not wiped out due to an aged tradition.
Norway too.
It's a resource that belong to the world, and the world made it very clear that we want to conserve it.
We should re-route some troops in that area, and prevent some killing for a change.
