I did not kill my lovely wife
I did not slash her with a knife
I did not bonk her on the head
I did not know that she was dead.

I stayed at home that fateful night
I took a cab, then took a flight
The bag I had was just for me
My bag! My bag! Hey, leave it be.

When I came home I had a gash
My hand was cut with broken glass
I cut my hand, I broken a glass
The broken glass caused the gash.

I have nothing yet to hide
My friend and I went for a ride.
When the cops began to chase
We drove home slow, we did not race.

Did you take this person's life?
Did you slash them with a knife?
I did not do it with a knife
I could not, would not kill my wife
I did not do this awful crime
I could not, would not anytime.

Did you hit her from above?
Did you drop this bloody glove?
I did not hit her from above
I can not even wear that glove.
I did not do this awful crime
I could not, would not anytime.

I did not do it with a knife
I could not, would not kill my wife
So now I'm free, I can return
To my house for which I yearn
To the family whom I love
Please return my bloody glove!!

Good use of a poem...
The glove, his fingers slipped right in,
While he wore than silly GRIN.

He LAUGHED with her dried blood on his pinky.
Those gloves must have been hard and stinky.

He said the death glove did not fit
While his fingertips WERE WEARING IT.

If I needed a glove in a pinch,
I would not mind that they only fit an inch.

The glove fit enough to fit the bill
Of a man who needed a glove to make a kill.
