I hate to be a downer, but...
Give me the address of some kids with leukemia who's not getting any publicity and I'll send them cards.
I really feel for this little guy because of his illness, but there's so many out there with the same thing (or worse) that will never get a birthday card from a caring stanger.
Thank you all for your kind response. And you make a very good point Grumpy_Person - I will make an effort to send cards to other sick children I know who don't have the same kind of support as Shane.
Well, like I said, I hated to be a downer. And it was no bother to me at all. But I just can't help but think of the ones that don't get cards.
I wish they'd all ask for them like Shane has and maybe it would bring our attention to their plight.
