This is the closest to what I'm going through right now, loss of physical mobility, though not as severe or dramatic as what I'm facing. Nothing, IMO, could be worse than coming to terms with the realization that your body is slowly getting away from you.

Im really sorry to hear about that truthseeker. My Mum has Rheumatoid Arthritis in all of her body, and it seriously limits her physical ability. And although I wish to God that she didn't have to live with the pain, it has made her a stronger person. For me, becoming mentally disabled would be utterly awful, and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Your body can wither and die, but its your mind that truly matters, like a diamond in a dustbin.
^so you choice is to be mentally retarded?
Voted : Loss of Arm
Wow this is a tough decision! lol I'd have to say loss of an arm, because at least it's not a mental impairment. I have rheumatoid arthritis though really bad, it's the kind that even children can get, not like old age arthritis, it's caused by loose joints and it's horrible, so i do have a problem! I can't even move it can get so bad, so bad i can't so much as make a fist! I've had mine since i was 18! It sucks!
Yeah, I have an impingement in my shoulder and carpol tunnel. both can be very painful.
