Voted : Global warming can be solved without giving up cars
A few thoughts:
1) I have never heard of a single person who accepts the reality of global warming suggest that to solve the problem we need to do away with all cars. That being the case, why should anyone give up their car? If you believe that disease germs can be transmitted through the air, should you stop breathing, or be classified as a hypocrite? I think the health care system in the U.S. is broken, but I'm not going to stop going to the doctor.
2) I'll give up my car, the day after all those pro-war, War on Terror, cheerleaders join the military and head for Iraq to defend "our" oil supplies.
3) And since the Saudis, and other Middle Eastern OPEC nations provide so much support to Muslim extremists, shouldn't all the Bush supporters stop driving their cars, since it's the oil money that gets funneled to terrorists?

I'm waiting for the day when "man-made climate change" deniers will start to be prosecuted with hate-speech crimes.
