Sudan is probably more of the "more people dead" mould.
The Sudan figure came from the March 12 issue of U.S. News & World Report.
The Iraq figure came from the BBC website.
The population of Sudan is 41 million. The population of Iraq is 27 million. The source of those figures is the CIA Factbook.
I find it hard to believe it, but I guess when thugs are roaming the streets cutting off people's heads I guess they would do anything to escape that nightmare.
