And, if they keep pressing the matter, I ask them to prove Creation. The seizures that follow are always so entertaining to watch.

They are living proof that evolution is not for everybody.
Voted : I understand their claims
Evolution is a theory. There are missing parts of the fossil record which would be needed to move it from a theory to fact. However, using the scientific method and the rule of parsimony (the simplest explanation that accounts for all the facts is generally correct), we can say that evolution is the best current explanation we have for life on earth. This is not to say that evolution is an immutable fact. Nor is it to say that creationism is completely false. I like a synthesis of the two positions: God (or some universal eternal principle) created (manifested, brought forth) the reality we live in. I do not pretend to know the methodology God employed, but perhaps it was what we call evolution?
I think they are weakminded and/ or brainwashed, and I try to show them how ridiculous their claims are.

Creationism has as much scientific value as astrology or any other superstition.
Aren't evolution and the big bang (creation, as opposed to the theory of a universe with no beginning or end) both part of science?

That Deity has made one more mistake in His/Her Plan? That all hope for mankind is lost? That it's time for me to start building that Space Ark? (Reminds me- I need to start sending out tickets...)
