Bush, 2005:
Sending more Americans would undermine our strategy of encouraging Iraqis to take the lead in this fight. And sending more Americans would suggest that we intend to stay forever, when we are, in fact, working for the day when Iraq can defend itself and we can leave.

Bush, 2007:
The solution to Iraq — an Iraq that can govern itself, sustain itself and defend itself — is more than a military mission. Precisely the reason why I sent more troops into Baghdad.

...However, Bush and the Bush lapDOGS will take the position that, the Terrorist changed the rules in the middle of the game and more Troops are necessary to keep up with the new rules...Although it is Bush who consistently changes the rules each day this war continues...

Not necessarily, at least. To be fair, two years is a lot of time for stuff to happen and for doors to open and close.

That being said, methinks his ability to tell which doors are open right now and which are closed is a bit impaired.
