Hey Shitstreek, (great name, by the way) the United States winning the World Cup is not completely out of the question. We finished in the top 8 (see list above) last time.

I still pick Germany to win it in '06. Even if Brazil or Italy or any other country has a "better" team, it's tough to overcome the home field advantage for a top contender like Germany. If it were being played in Italy, I'd pick Italy. The same goes for Brazil and a couple of other top teams.
