He must have loved his job since he was an inventor of many things.

Lombardi was a great coach, but he didn't know everything. I love my job NOW, but I've worked my ass off in other jobs I didn't. Does that mean I was working then but I'm not working now. And does that mean that if Lombardi himself liked coaching then he wasn't really working. Let's all dig ditches so we can feel good about ourselves.

Absolutely. Working at something you love and working simply for the money make a world of difference.
