Go easy on our uneducated, impoverished Black Brothers, they's just doin' what they Daddy teached them's....ifn they's know who them's Daddy is. Besides, which is worse, Bitch, Ho or the all important and popular whiteman's choice, C**t?

Oh, definitely. When I call e.g. Kiki a whore, or say that Black_Lava's cunt smells of sour milk, I want them to feel offended :-)

When a "black man" refers to women using derogatory language, he's disrespecting his Grandmothers, mother, sisters, and his daugthers and as for "rappers" why anyone runs out to buy or loudly play that so called music or condone those actions is a direct reflection of their intellect...or lack of it...I believe it is written in the Bible, "As a man thinketh, so he is," (which I believe is true) so when one chooses to refer to him/herself and others with the "N" word, or any of the negative terms bantered about, don't get upset when others view them as such...the power of words can be either positive or destructive...for those individuals who feel inferior I suppose they might view it as a greater "putdown" if a white man makes the same comments...as opposed to someone whom they may deem "unqualified to be taken as seriously...

It's a double standard. Blacks denegrate their own women more than whites do. It's the same as it's Ok for them to use the N word but not Whites. Screw you! You Goddammed BLACK HYPOCRITES!

But I find it even more revolting when women (rap groupies) call themselves that!

They would both get the same right hook from me.
Pheeeew, New_Lava / Bum_Grapes, will you go & stand downwind? The smell from your foetid box is making me ill. Interesting choice of words there, Grapost. "Denigrate" (note spelling) comes from the Latin denigratus, past participle of denigrare, "to blacken". Thus far, I think MiChaEl JacKSoN is the only black to denigrate himself, lol!

The television tells me that most women find it a turn-on when a bold, proud buck lays down a little thug flavor on them. They may even give him that ride to the check-cashin' place.

yeah, it's hilarious when al sharpton and jesse jackson tries to differentiate and defend those rappers. it was real pathetic for them to suspend imus for couple of weeks. Basically they are saying that he will be off until the news media moves on, and he will be on as soon as the heat's off.

I find it interesting when this kind of incident rear its ugly head, automatically rappers are brought into the arena. Not all rap music contain disgusting lyrics, the media only share the ones that are. I don't hear anyone addressing the filthy, racist, sexist and violent lyrics in many of your Heavy Metal music that encourages and promotes hatred. Imus is responsible for his own lingo, he is a bum, this is not the first time he made such disgusting and disparaging comments regarding race. Anyone who would utter such garbage (no matter the race of the speaker) should be brought to task and not the immediate finger pointing at a group that is comprised of individuals, and for the MOST part who do not indulge in filthy lingo... What about the other races of men who disparage women on a regular basis? Why are we automatically pointing the finger at only Black men? The point is, Black men do not have a lock on disparaging women as a group... Whether Imus should be fired or not, the point is, he has a history of making insensitive, disparaging and hurtful comments about people who do not look like himself. I sugguest he sign himself into a rehab program and NEVER remove his foot from that sore underneath his nose...
'MY' heavy metal music? I hate the stuff! p.s. In my own defense, I said, 'e.g. a rapper.' I'm not condemning all rap music. True, I can't stand most of it, but the same applies to metal. I also hate 'soft jazz' and anything by Michael Bolton ----- eeeeeeeee.....

BBC, heavy metal is more about introspective angst than targeted aggression. In fact, I can't think of a proper (i.e. 1970s/1980s) metal track that *actually* encourages violence against others, and many do the opposite (Run to the Hills / Iron Maiden, several tracks on Master of Puppets / Metallica, War Pigs / Black Sabbath, etc. etc.) Hah! Now someone's bound to point out a metal track that calls for e.g. all Swiss lesbians to be exterminated... :-)
Look what happens when one preaches racial genocide. I'm surprised Brother Kamau Kambon didn't get a movie deal. "Are we done yet"? ballot #35483
