I know it's a bad generalization, but I honestly couldnt take much of the people for the 6 months that I spent there. But then it was mostly spent in one area, so I'm sure things were probably different in other parts.
You'll find the same in other states' large cities though too. Houston is about as bad and that's one reason why I'm glad I don't live there anymore.

High cost of living but it is a beautiful state. I spent the summer in Anahiem when I was a kid, and didn't want to go back home. My husband went to high school in Redlands Ca. I think you'll get more for your money as far as housing is concerned in AZ.
