Voted : Don't let them spoil this day for you mate.
Firstly, congratulations are in order. Well done mate. Secondly, the people who heckled those joining the military had absolutely no right to do so. There is a time and a place for political protest, and your graduation ceremony was certainly not one of them. I myself am against the Iraq war and have a low regard and no respect for Bush, but I applaud your classmates who are entering the armed forces. The people who heckled your classmates have shown a lack of respect and regard for you and your fellow students. No matter what they were heckling about, it was certainly not the time or place to do it. Do not let it get you down Larry, and one again, congratulations. All the best for the future.

Congrats, congrats, congrats, my friend. Go forth and do great things in the world.
As for those who were stupid enough to heckle, feel free to remind them, should you run across any of them, that those they heckled are going to risk life and limb to secure their right to heckle. If that doesn't shut them up, then tune them out.
Voted : They should show more respect to the kids
Congrats to you! Graduation is an important day and it's sad that others were so inconsiderate and booed those who have chosen to serve in the military.
good point larry. congrats on the graduation. what are your plans now?
Voted : Justifiable Anger, But Misdirected
Hooray for the young people who want to serve their country. Shame on that jerk Bush and all his politician friends who wrongly, pointlessly endanger them.
