i had totally forgotten how amazing newport rhode island is. we had to come up here for a cousins wedding and since we're having the most amazing weather, it looks even more spectacular than i remember.

i could move here in a second. thinking about where you live now, name one other city or place you could live without hesitation. if you comment, maybe something that is holding you back from moving to that place.

Ulan Bator, Mongolia 4
Honolulu, Hawaii 3
San Francisco 3
newport, rhode island 2
Palm Springs, CA 0

yeah, you're right. hawaii in general is phenomenal. for me there's just something about newport that i connnect with. i do have a tendency to do this with places i've visited, but with newport it's much more palpable.

I'm not so independant, and anyway I have a yard full of flowers and wildlife to look after now.
But my best friend lives in SF, he goes to the park and lays in the grass on his days off, it's always 45-75 degrees there and he can live life without a car.

It's too expensive right now, it's more for when you're kids are a little older and you want to retire in style to actually live, but perfect for a summer home, i love it there!

San Fransisco also, but it gets too cold up there for me...i like it hot!

My husband lived in Honolulu and hated the racism, living there is totally different then vacationing there, i vacationed there but it was at a friends house so i saw both the beauty and the bad...if it's downtown you're gonna be called names just for being white, Jesse had big ass Samoans always trying to start shit with him for being a howlie (white person in Hawaiian)...the regular beaches suck, the vacation parts are what most ppl see...the strip is worse than downtown L.A. :/

Spent a day there back in my salad daze, and I wouldn't mind making it a lifetime.
