Voted : No, share the blame with invasion force and insurgence
it's our fault for starting the war. fact is, under saddam they didn't have these problems. too late to go back now. but no, it's not fair to blame the u.s and britain alone. iran is meddling and causing huge problems and so is syria most likely. and now we find out that china is supplying arms to the insurgents. i'm going to have to go with the no vote here more because i'm pretty confident that for the most part the iraqi people just want to have peace and quiet.
Kev, they share the blame, but it's also the insurgency targeting innocent civilians. Not to mention the fact they go around beating women for showing ankle. And as for the Iraqis, unfortunately, if they hadn't invaded, the Iraqis may never have ever gotten rid of Saddam themselves. I hear that arguement "the Iraqis should have done it themselves." Ok, how? He slept in different places, was well guarded, etc. And you know what? With all these terrorist threats? These guys are ruining it for the rest of us!! F**k them! Go to Iraq and get yourself killed if you want to.

The real problem is the fact that the US and Britain did not have a plan going into Iraq, which was stupid

Mainly, yes. The chimp's dad was right when he said that removing Saddam would plunge the area into power vacuum & civil war for what might be decades. A shame, then, that his idiot son & his pet poodle failed to listen to him.
^true, and it's also the fault of the US and Britain for intially supporting and putting Saddam into power in the first place.

^ very well stated aya, both created the monster and when the monster refused to behave as both dictated, they got rid of that monster... I only blame Bush and his croonies, although Britain followed Bush around like a sick little puppy on the matter of Iraq...
