result #11862 - HAS THE TERM "RACISM" BECOME WEAK, OVER USED, AND LOST IT'S MEANING?

best : culture :
[+] ballot by CouchGnome

When society over uses a word and uses it improperly, it loses it's value and original meaning. For example the term "anti-semite" is thrown at anyone who disagrees with Israeli policy, and really is a bogus word since semites are A member of a group of Semitic-speaking peoples of the Near East and northern Africa, including the Arabs, Arameans, Babylonians, Carthaginians, Ethiopians, Hebrews, and Phoenicians... Furthermore, the term "racism" is thrown at anyone who points out the link between minorities low academic achievement, crime, or anyone who criticises a person of color.. Basically eople need to get out of the sandbox and stop calling eachother names.
