without question.

I lean toward no, but evolution still has a ways to go. In *both* cases...
Most educated believers do accept evolution. Dualism is the view that there can be scientific truths and religious truths and that these truths do not have to agree because they answer different questions. Of course the evidence for evolution in the fossil record is strong enough that anyone who doesn't accept evolution will not change their mind for any amount of evidence. But what if we are misunderstanding the whole Adam and Eve story? Adam is Hebrew for mankind, Eve is Hebrew for life. Considering the names is it possible that the story is allegorical rather than a story about two people?

That would explain some things.

Hell no! they might be our distant cousins but not our fathers. evolution is real but anyone that says there is absolute proof we descended directly from apes hasent done his homework or is just outright lying.
Voted : A magical Laboratory 'in the Sky' which designs and produces new lifeforms
I wouldn't call it a 'god' or 'gods' exactly, more like a Very Superhuman Genius 'in the clouds'...that manipulates matter and energy and time and space, to produce our cousins the apes, and us, the moderately intelligent super apes..!
