There's so many good things in the world to hate, but you're distracted because of nonsense like a smoking ban! Some dusty old farts in parliament tell us we can't smoke in public places anymore (although the ban doesn't extend as far as the parliament gentlemens club, tw*ts!). Apparently 10 million people smoke in the UK, why haven't they marched on the government!!?? Directed anger is what's needed! :o)

Wow! I just read about a town in California. It's called Belmont. There, people CANNOT smoke on any street or in any public outdoor place and...now, they cannot smoke in any home that is attached to another home. Helllloooo Nazism!

^ patch, that's happening right here in the county I live in. A series of ordinances were just passed, banning smoking effectively in any restaurant, business or public building, any outdoor spaces adjacent to any of these places (unless designated by the county) and any county facilities. I don;'t smoke, and I look down on anyone who does smoke, having buried a great-aunt who did smoke like a chimney her entire life and dying of emphysema, but it's everyone's Deity-given right to commit suicide...not that I'm advocating its use. Life's a lot more fun.

patch, if you're serious about wanting to smoke, let me know. I'll send you a pic of the lung they took out of me back in '96. It's a pretty fair representation of what yours would look like, if you took up the habit. And no, I won't be cleaning up the vomit that results once you look at it.
