Well, A looks darker, but, knowing a bit about the nature of optical illusions, they'd probably be identical if you cut them out and laid them side by side.

Uh... after seeing the previous ballot... still A. This is not an illusion, A is clearly darker.

Still neither. It's an optical illusion due to the lighter and darker shades in between the two.

I use little 'tricks' like this when doing pencil or pastel drawings without the proper colors.

Sho nuff look darker to me...I've seen this "illusion" before but even when you put your screen alway down, and cover the border, it still looks markedly different...

Believe me folks I couldn't believe it either, so I printed off the image and cut out two matching squares out of a piece of paper and placed it over the labeled tiles, and amazingly they are EXACTLY the same shade.

I did the same with photoshop. MMmmm my words... they taste so good.

I believe the tiles themselves are of equal value. If you count the letter on the tiles as manipulating the value, since the A is light and the B is dark, the A tile would become lighter. But I still think the tiles sans the letters are of the same value.

Hey 24/7/365 B&W addicted loser 'Britvic/InternalColonel/IC'stay away my ballots, you are officially banned from this website because of anti-social behaviour against other members and abuse of the site's founder, but you keep crawling back under new aliases, you are loathed almost universally by virtually all the remaining members of Best and Worst.com.

Now try and exercise some respect for others even if you can't for yourself and keep away from my ballots you weirdo 'no friends or social life' freak.
