I agree with you.
if it was true reality, there would be so few funny or interesting moments. All reality shows are directed or scripted to a large extent. Do u think Jessica simpson is actually coming up with these funny lines by winging it? These lines are written for her. Everything is written. No reality here.
I think they are all stupid..I think we're being set up for something.
It's all about profit for the networks. Why pay millions for quality writing and acting when you can get some shaved chimp off the street, give them a nice consolation prize, prop them up in front of a camera and the viewers still flock like sheep to their idiot boxes?
The only believable reality show I could think of would be one called "Piss Break" where someone would say to the camera, "Hold on, I gotta go take a piss."
Until then, I'll be watching "I Love Lucy" reruns.
I agree that the "Real World" is not the real world if you have to audition for it.
