SHOULD THE DAILY SHOW AND THE COLBERT REPORT COME BACK?

[+] serious ballot by Mithrandir
ACTIVE Dec 21,2007 - Thu Mar 20, 08
The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and the Colbert Report are scheduled to air again on Jan. 7, 2008 without their writing staffs. They have been airing repeats since Nov. 5 when writers went on strike over a feud with managing conglomerates over payment concerning material on the Internet and such "new media".

Do you think they should?

Yes, I am suffering from satire withdrawal 52%
No, they should last out the strike and support the writers 39%
I don't care, I never watched them anyway 8%

COMMENTS:
I support the writers strike, but it will be interesting to see Jon Stewart and Steve Colbert come up with their own material.

Voted : No, they should last out the strike and support the writers
I don't want to think what the product would look like.

nuck, they legally can't, because they're both WGA members.

If someone calls themselves a commedian but has to rely on writers to come up with their material, I really couldn't care less if they came back.

how can they come up with their own material? they already write for their own shows, and are therefore themselves on strike.

Voted : Yes, I am suffering from satire withdrawal
It's not just about writers, the dolly grips, boom mike operators, and the rest of the production staff need jobs also.
