Voted : Excalibur (1981)
Truth likes his classics. And this one earns that because, IMO, no one who watches this will *ever* look at a suit of armor without flinching in pain. (I'm not going to spoil it. Rent it and find out for yoruselves.)

Voted : The Mists of Avalon (2001)
I guess it's kind of obvious that my favorite is "The Mists of Avalon"

Voted : Excalibur (1981)
Has to be adopted Irish resident John Boorman's 'Excalibur', shot here in Ireland with a largely unknown Irish cast including Gabriel Byrne in his first film role.

It also saw the debut of Helen Mirren in her first major film role.
