There's a well-known phishing scam created by someone imitating Paypal.
A relative used to use Ebay to sell alot of stuff she makes and writes. She quit doing it after so many people ripped her off. Alot of people would use Paypal and then turn around and tell Paypal they never got their merchandise or it arrive broken so they'd get their money back without having to return the item.
Seeing how it's hard to break something like books, incense, or dried herbs, it didn't take long for her to catch on to what people were doing.

p.s. There's a sure-fire way to know when people aren't actually emailing from PayPal. Not gonna share it here.

I never have had any problems yet either but from people.
There are many ways to get away from being scammed. Sad part is most of it is/should be common knowledge.
