Voted : The system is corrupt
Sadly, the rightwingers love what Bush has done to destroy the greatness of America, and the liberals in power would rather appease than impeach.

Well didn't you know? According to some people, he's the BEST President ever. I thought everyone knew that? :)

I don't know the answer, but I will say that of everyting I learned, George W. Bush is anything BUT a "good American." Could the same be said for his supporters? Could be.

This is what happens when the very people that make the laws fail to enforce them, and many are derelict in their duties for fear of repercusions, in fact a significant number of them condone what has occurred so far... ballot #113739

america deserves bush, if they are not willing to do anything about it.

I for one am tired of it all. when you are in the middle of lemmings running towards the cliff, you either scream at the top of your lungs for them to stop, and when that doesn't work, you just watch the show.

maybe start surfing on the heads of the masses as they rush toward the abyss.

He has always done his masters' bidding. He's probably got a strap-on attached to his forehead and giving King Abdullah and Ehud Olmert free unicorn rides right now.

CRANKY!!!!!
by Truthseeker013 on Wed Feb 06, 08 1:41pm [+]

Ahh, I see how it works. Oral sex is Impeachable, but war crimes and all of Bush's OTHER crimes are not. Interesting. And Americans wonder why we have lost ALL credibility.
by patch22us on Wed Feb 06, 08 2:34pm [+]

And as always, Truthseeker makes a brilliant observation.
by patch22us on Wed Feb 06, 08 2:35pm [+]

Actually patch, it wasn't the blowjob that got Clinton impeached, it was lying under oath that did it. But you knew that already, right?

If the Democrats had anything on Bush they would have done it. But he needed their approval for the Iraq war to happen (which they gave him).

by ClosetIguana on Wed Feb 06, 08 5:36pm [+]

I actually do know that ClosetIguana, but the bigger picture is the fact that it even came to that...over a sexual relationship with another adult. That's really the issue. But you knew that already, didn't you? :)

See the way many see it is, who got hurt from Bill Clinton's sexual relationship with Monica? The nation? YES! But only because a corrupt system was allowed to run crazy, spend millions of dollars and waste the nations' time pursuing the man over something that amounted to nothing more than maritial infidelity. Now on the other hand, starting an illegal war, among so many other crimes seems like a more reasonable case for impeachment. Wouldn't you say?
by patch22us on Thu Feb 07, 08 5:38am [+]

wtf ?
by Black_Lava on Thu Feb 07, 08 7:04am [+]

So are you saying you believe the Democrats have information on an impeachable offence but they are choosing not to pursue it?
by ClosetIguana on Thu Feb 07, 08 12:15pm [+]

I don't know Closet_Iguana. But if you refuse to give information under oath and you lie, you really didn't commit that crime I guess. Know what I mean? I believe I read that they do have impeachable offenses, but decided not to move forward, with the reason being that it would be counter-productive. My only point is, how as a nation can we be taken seriously if we impeach one President for lying under Oath, but then others commit serious infractions or what have you and they are not impeached?

I guess my view is that Impeaching Clinton appears to have been a petty and spiteful move by one party against another. I don't think impeaching our Presidents for trivial reasons is good for anyone.
by patch22us on Thu Feb 07, 08 12:27pm [+]

That first sentence of my comment relates to the lying under oath point you made.
by patch22us on Thu Feb 07, 08 12:29pm [+]

"I believe I read that they do have impeachable offenses, but decided not to move forward"

It's true that they made they statement that they would not move forward with impeachment proceeding, but they never claimed that they have anything to proceed with. They know that they signed off on the war. Democrats love to ignore that little detail that implicates themselves. It's Bush's War but their hands aren't clean either. America is forever shamed for attacking a essentially defenseless country.
If impeachment proceeding ever got off the ground the whole U.S congress should be implicated.
by ClosetIguana on Thu Feb 07, 08 6:58pm [+]

Well said, ClosetIguana.

Republicans think, Democrats donot.
by Black_Lava on Fri Feb 08, 08 7:59am [+]

^ don't know about that. Weren't the Republicans the ones that overwhelmingly believed that Iraq and 9/11 were tied together?
