COMMENTS:
Hillary is accepting contributions from employees of energies companies and all other companies without restriction. Second, Obama never promised to refuse contributions based on the business of their employer — that would be political suicide given that most people work for companies. Besides, as anyone who has worked at a company knows, merely being an employee doesn’t mean you have the power shape company policy. Certainly, a Dilbert-like engineer or accountant has no say in what the board of directors decides. This is a distraction by Hillary from the fact that Obama refuses contributions from all corporate PACs and federal lobbyists, and Hillary accepts those donations. In fact, her campaign (like McCain’s) has been run by lobbyists all along, like Mark Penn, Maggie Williams, and arguably Bill Clinton.
Getting defensive? Hillary has accepted money from PACs. But not all PACs are bad. Many non-profit and even human rights groups have them. And as my ballot pointed out. If you don't accept money from PACs but take it via the back door, then what is the difference? BTW, LCD already did this ballot.
BTW, the people he has accepted money from the work for oil companies are Joe and Jane sixpack but rather corporate executives - which I pointed out. Two of them are some of his biggest bundlers of campaign cash. So your distraction claiming them to average Joes is utterly laughable. Obama does in fact have lobbyists working on his campaign. I checked this on factcheck. They just aren't federal lobbyists but rather state lobbyists. I can even give you their names. Which I will. "All are exclusively state-level lobbyists working far from Washington. Obama's New Hampshire co-chair, Jim Demers, was the subject of a few headlines back in January when Clinton first pointed out his line of business. Demers does indeed head up The Demers Group, a New Hampshire-based lobbying firm. In Nevada, Obama's steering committee included Billy Vassiliadis, the CEO of R&R Partners, which does lobbying work on behalf of casinos. And in Indiana, Obama campaign adviser Kipper Tew has lobbying clients that include an energy company. Demers does all of his lobbying with the New Hampshire Legislature. Vassiliadis' lobbying stays in Vegas – or Reno, anyway. And Tew lobbies the Indiana legislature, but he doesn't lobby at the federal level. And when we spoke with Tew, he told us that he is a volunteer member of Obama's "senior advisory council" but doesn't run the Indiana campaign, as one might conclude from the vague wording of the Clinton ad. We asked the Obama campaign to confirm the status of Demers, Vassiliadis and Tew, but we received no response." So that's factcheck.org Obama has taken money from lobbyists in the past as well. In his senate campaign for example. Lastly, part of Obama's problem is that the average voter especially those that are struggling - couldn't give two sh*ts about whether he takes money from lobbyists. They need help and someone who will fight for them and make their live better.
Voted : Hillary accepts money from Pacs
a guess
And you fight for someone by representing the interests of the people that finances your election (hello). A good example of her fighting for you was to agree to a 30 percent interest rate (maybe 31) for credit card companies along with the Republican sponsors... we are talking about what people do that is talking change and has been there all along while things got worse. Any health care plan that "mandates" everyone joining it and then exempting those who can't pay is problematic to me... and what about her proposal to give every newborn baby a 5,000 dollar "baby bond" fund (about 4 million babies born a year not counting those who will be legit even if their parents are not) to fund college or buy a home... then there's the failed health care plan she tried to "ram down our throats" although she was not an elected official... she has so many conflicting statements on Iraq and the middle east to make me not have a clue as what she will really try to do but you can bet if her "sponsors" are "making a killing" she won't be ending anything anytime soon... or doing anything that will "hurt" their bottom line... in fact, she may turn out to be worse than Bush.
Its misleading of you and the Obama campaign to claim that he doesn't accept money from PACs. In fact he has - a very small amount. But the bigger issue is that it is easy to claim you won't accept money from PACs but take that money through other routes. First, the maximum amount a PAC can give a single candidate is $5000. An individual can give $2300. If you have an executive of a company bundle contributions from his pals, it is easy to vastly exceed the amount of money that a PAC could give. This is in fact what Obama (and the others) have done. Barack Obama has lobbyist bundlers. He also has executives who bundle contributions. So, have 3 of your executive pals bundle their contributions together and they greatly exceed the amount their PAC could have given. The candidate knows who his bundlers are as much as he would know what PACs have given him or her money. What is worse? Taking $5000 from a PAC or taking $50,000 from a bundler (affiliated with a company or industry)? Influence is being bought either way. Don't believe the Obama propaganda. He's hardly innocent or not influenced by donors any less than his opponents.
Go to "utube" and look at the shocking video Hillary doesn't want you to see, then come back and explain away her "donors" assertations...
