I don't watch a lot of TV.
But the news is one of the things I do watch when I have it on.

Since watching Deliverance, I haven't been that keen on hanging out in the wilderness, but I could go without for a week or two... (can I have a portable radio ?)

No. I can do without TV. Though, like UncleRandy, I do make it a point to catch the news if I can. The local news especially. But it's nothing that I don't go out of my way to watch and I'm darn sure not going to turn down a camping trip just because it means I will miss the news.
