yes it should be legalized, people are always going to buy it.I would rather see it taxed and the money stay in the economy,it would be a great cash crop for farmers, rather than gangs getting rich from it.

Alcohol is a man made drug that is accountable for the majority of domestic violence, public altercations, fights, teenage (driving) accidents/deaths, birth defects and health issues such as liver and cardiovascular disease. Marijuana is a natural herb that has been used for Cancer, Aids and Glaucoma. It's been proven to be generally less harmful than alcohol or tobacco. Also, it will increase tax revenue, decrease street crime, reduce revenue for theft, gangs and terrorists. Early convictions of hemp seem to also entrap young people into livelong patterns of crime, unnecessarily. There would be FDA requirements enacted. Fact is Fact... Parents are responsible, and accountable, for teaching their children about substance abuse... not schools, public, city, state or government (although they should have an active role). When I was in school, we were shown films of individuals coming down from heroin addictions, but were told it was from marijuana (Dope)! The only "Dope" was the fricking propaganders! All drugs have different effects on different people! Moderation is the key to all of them. Pretending drug usage doesn't exist is more deadly than the drug itself!
i.e. This does not reflect my opinion on acid, meth, cocaine, heroin, opium etc... And marijuana should not be categorized with these drugs.
i.e. Those who falter on Ecstasy (MDMA), You're a Puss! You should stay away from aspirin and tic tacs, as well!

I absolutely think Marijuana should be legalized. I don't smoke weed, and never will, but that is my personal choice. Marijuana legalization is a state rights issue, it shouldn't be a federal issue. Apperently some states have taken to decriminalizing it. Live and let live. If you drive high however, I think you should be locked up and the key thrown away.
