Yes, I had a big change since I got addicted to drugs, but it wasn't due to 9/11, it just happened around the same time.

the hijackers were defending their religion because the damn americans and stinkin jews of israel invaded their land, killing their people.
not to mention- christians and jews are all racist bastards... has anybody forgot about the americans bombing the japanese with atomic bombs?
nobody will be surprised if america is attacked again in the near future....

I've always been a forgiving sort, not anymore. I will never forgive the Arabs, the muslims nor will I forgive all those ignorant pompous cowards around the world wh tried to hide their glee at it all.

Frankly, if the U.S. used some of our 6,000 mukes tomorrow in revenge for some of the aformentioned, I wouldn't give a rat's ass.

Some of our freedoms were irrevocably taken away after 9/11: Air travel is a more time consuming ordeal than before with added security checks and delays, there are now security checks and prohibitions at concerts and sporting events, the coast guard and marine patrol are more active and invasive, some "high risk" tourist attractions have been closed down such as the Statue of Liberty, and large scale events such as festivals and fireworks displays have an increased security presence. Also, more intrusive legislation has been passed like the USA Patriot Act.

Not much has changed, except I've lost faith in human nature. End of cynicism my ass. Not while I'm here.
by Tigerlady on Wed Oct 27, 04 6:28pm [+]

I have decided now that I will never ride on an airplane.

Personally, the only changes I have dealt with are the longer waits at the airport, but living in the south, the paranoia is just insane. The rednecks were all nuts before, but now every time there's a major event, they all think there'll be a terrorist attack. Some of them avoid major cities whenever possible now. Its like they expect it now because it happened once - and it didn't even happen on a major holiday or anything.

Yes, I refuse to get on an airplane!
