I thought I was on my way and then Bush screwed up the economy and my internet profits!!!!
I still make enough to get by from my music and photography, but I also had a "real" job when Clinton was president. I wasn't Billy's biggest fan, but at least the economy was *much* better under Clinton than Bush.
So does that mean it's merely coincidence that the economy goes down the tubes whenever there's a Republican in the White House, Frank? :-)
i think cecillia is the only person with her head on straight. my cousin in the military was living off food stamps until Bush became president. frank is also right about th ebusiness cycle being indeoendent of the president. people who say clinton did good with the economy, do you have any idea how many jobs were lost to NAFTA. the textile industry in the south rotted away while he did nothing. the economy is basically ran by peoples opinions. and after 9-11 the public opinion wasnt that good. bush's tax cuts were for business primarily so they could hire people and if they were passed earlier the recession wouldnt have hit a hard. well im just rambling on so ill stop there.
