It's not any more easy to get sick from a restaurant than in your home. Restaurant workers are trained on food safety and proper food handling. How many times have you ordered a pizza and left the remaining pieces on the kitchen counter for 2 hours? Can we say bacteria breeding ground?? Besides, living your life free of germs is worse than being sick once in a while. You'll have no immune system and/or antibodies! ;)
So their trained on how to handle food. Doesn't mean their going to do it. Your dealing with immature kids and pissed off low wage adults who hate their jobs and can't get any others. They will take it out on you by putting their biological fluids in your food or dropping it on the floor. I heard a guy took a McDonalds hamburger pattie to the toilet and wiped his ass with it after taking a shit and then put it in a bun and gave it to someone he hated. Some people are sick with the flu or something and refuse to call in sick hacking all over your food. This happened one time a long time ago and I threw the bag of food into the parking lot.
What the fuck did you do that for??? You should have fucking slammed it in their faces and sued their asses!!!
Ummm hold the mayo, please. No "special sauce" either!
My first job was in a place called Heroes Pizza in Blighty. The older guys used to have competitions to see how many pubes they could put in a pizza without getting a complaint - so not Heroes Pizza!
