All you need to know that makes Bullit great is the sound of the cars during the chase. No music, not even dialog. Just the rumbling of the engines. That alone makes Bullit the greatest car movie. Plus the cars are cool!

Gone in 60 seconds the original was the best ever! 75% of the movie was a chase VS. the remake with only 10-15 minutes of a chase.

I always liked that movie from the 70s, The Car, where James Brolin is the Sheriff of that small town and they're all terrorized by that black car with tinted windows. It has this loud scary horn. It supposed to Satan in there or something. The Hearse was another one where this woman is haunted by a driverless hearse that follows her and drives by her house at night.
