Yeah, thunderstorms are great for sleeping. If you've ever slept in a house with a tin roof during a rain storm you know how relaxing it can be. Even without the tin roof though I find storms very relaxing for some reason.
I love thunderstorms, but they are a rare event where I live. Whenever there is one, I'm usually out watching it!
yes, i love it and i always hope a lightning bolt hits me and kills me in my sleep, so i don't have to suffer this fucking world anymore.

Heavy rain storms rock to slee during. But thunderstorms are more fun to sit up and enjoy. Read a book near a window or even sit outside and watch it.

So long as you don't get one of those Titanic booms of thunder that sound like someone just shot off a cannon next to your nightstand, it's ideal sleeping conditions: a little humid, yet if it's raining too the patter of it can be soothing. Don't try it in a one-man pup tent, though...
