I know you probably want to start an argument with this poll, but I don't think they should be treating POW's wrong. I'm all for the war in Iraq and Afganistan, but I think the American soldiers who were doing those things should be put in jai and millitary justice WILL do that. I also think the Britts are doing much worse and need to be punished to!
We are Americans, we are who we are because we are better then those who do these things! The marines doing those things should and will be put in jail.
I totally agree with you Taxacated - Wrong is wrong no matter who is committing the act(s) and who the act(s) are committed against.
They should be punished just like any soldier from any country who mistreat prisoners.
Depends, are the prisoners former members of a recognized national military or are they free-lancers, in which case, the Geneva Conventions do not protect them.
You will never find a single army involved in any conflict throughout history that followed the Geneva Convention standards appropriately in all categories. Such is war.
