I enjoy my life, could always use more cash, I never had any expectations, I learned long ago what is truly important, I have an awesome wife, awesome kids, comfortable home, easy job, I enjoy getting buzzed and pissin around in my back yard.

Now that is awesome.
That's what it's all about. :)
Well, it's hard to judge my life overall. In my 15 years, it's changed so much, I can't really tell. I guess I should be happy I'm not poor, or that I was born in '89 in America instead of '29 in Europe ;)
gotta love the freedom of a good wizz outdoors, and fresh pizza
well put.
I wouldn't say that everything is exactly the way "I hoped it would be", but different, probably even better than I expected, thus far. Everyone has hurdles in life whether it be gender, race, religion, sexuality, intelligence level or just physical appearance, that seems to greatly affect our lives, especially during our informative school years. Those who trump these challenges and make changes to adjust and adapt tend to fair the best. Look around your school, some of the biggest geeks you see now, will be by far the most successful in their lives! My family didn't shove religion, politics or geographical social cultural economic crap down our throats, but encouraged diversity, acceptance and adaptation to change. My mother is a huge advocate of Karma and the fabled "Golden Rule", she's been preaching this as long as I can remember. It's worked quite well for my parents, and I can honestly say for me and my brothers, too. Financial security, 10 close (take a bullet for you, so to speak) that will be life long friends (so far), dozens of friends and acquaintances, great memories, no real regrets and still focusing on an even brighter future... that would be my life... and you have to remember, what I've just mentioned, is available to everyone, it's up to you to stop, look, listen, understand, digest and make decisions not just for today, but that will effect you the rest of your life! Yes, I'm happy with my life.
