Why is all this gay screwing, rapes, drug use, beatings and all this stuff allowed among prisoners. Jail is supposed be where your locked up not demoralized and corrupted. Does the government think it will be more of a crime deterent for you to take it up the ass?

Follow the equasion...
Crime means that there are Criminals. Therefore many Criminals mean Much Crime. If you put a lot of Criminals in one place it's a prison. So we conclude that Prison = Crime and a lot of it!

the film shawshank redemption (Tim robbins/Morgan Freeman) is a good demonstration of a prison as a microcosm. the 'sisters' (who repeatedly gay-rape robbins' character) would otherwise be straight. they are just desparate. rape in any context is totally wrong, as it is takin, without consent, a part of someone by force.
