Good point but im a bit too wrecked to give a serious relpy to that right now. I'll get back to you thurr...
I totally agree, Buzzer. And don't forget that the alchohol and tobacco industries are still powerful government lobbies, which makes it even more outrageous. I think most drugs should be legalized - people are going to take them anyway (remember Prohibition?), and maybe legalizing them would take the mystique out of them. At least they would be controlled so people wouldn't inadvertently OD because of a bad (or good?) "batch". I have never met a mean stoner but I've met plenty of mean drunks. So yes, I agree that it's hypocritical. p.s. And I don't even like MJ!!

Yeah, I don't smoke pot anymore- I smoked it quite frequently in High school, but, who cares anymore. Besides, it comes with nicotine unslee you really want to flip out. And it was just for the show anyway :)
IS THE GOVERNMENT FUCKIN RETARDED!! I mean really do you have any idea how much money they would make if the legalized weed and just tax the fuck out of it!?! Fuckin retarded assholes!
With the hundreds of thousands of people it has to support in jail, massive ad campaigns, and the police resources used, the government is not making money off illegal drugs. They're wasting millions to combat a relatively harmless vice. Legalize and tax it. From what studies I've seen marijuana is no more harmful than alcohol or tobacco. Doesn't make sense to allow one and not the other.
the best two money making drugs of the free world. hipocrisy to the t. -who figured this one out to be the best 2 to choose? smart, procured addicts and alcoholics and still hooked! money keeps coming in either way!
Didn't opium devistate China about a hundred years ago? Fathers would sell their children in order to buy more opium and satisfy their craving. Certain drugs need to be illegal because of their effect on society.
weed makes people unmotivated, but thats only with undeveloped brains. The fact that its illegal makes it easier for kids to get hold of it because the dealers dont give a shit about age. If it were legal, then it would be harder for kids to get hold of it.
I once worked at a factory that required drug screening of every new employee. Yet I would watch so many of these squares sucking down coffee and cigarettes all day, waiting till they get off work so they can go drink beer... Kind of sad I guess.
