I really understand you, Wylie. Rick is more for me the sexiest man alive than a father because mine is great. But I can feel what you describe. He's a great model for anybody and I'm sure that he helped a lot of people in many various ways. As far as I'm concerned, he helps me when I'm down. It could seem stupid but I always had a picture of him in my wallet when I had an important thing to do, such as an exam or an interview for a job. He's my hero !!
My vote here is husband, there honesty! but it would b great to have him as a friend, I won't say dad because mine it's still alive and love hi´m very much and wouldn't replace him for anyone in the world. RDA is great and because of that I lean on him when I'm down. haven't been able to write earlier but of course I know it's only TV-Show. I did a lot of research read interviews talked to pleople who already meet him or worked with him like Amanda Tapping, JR. Bourne etc. So far it´s pretty obvious, he is a nice guy not perfect of course but, who is that. He cares a lot about humans, nature and hates violience. That's why he did a commercial against guns. He shorten in his appearence in Stargate to a minimum because he said his daughter Wylie is the major focus of his life and he wanted to be there for her spend as much time with her as possible. Rick loves her like crazy.
What else can you wish from a father?
